Getting Started
Iyengar yoga can be practiced safely by all students regardless of age or fitness level. Yoga postures are modified to meet the needs of the individual student. Classes are on going. Beginners and drop-ins are welcome. Beginners should  attend a Level 1 or Introductory class for the first few months. Regular attendance is recommended. Iyengar yoga is methodical and progressive; students who attend class regularly will benefit more from the practice.

Guidelines for students
» Arrive a few minutes early with an empty stomach.
» Wear comfortable clothing that is not too loose so knees and ankles can be seen for alignment (shorts, footless tights).
» No perfumes, gum or loose jewelry.
» We work barefoot.
» If you have any health issues let your instuctor know before class.
» Studios are fully equipped with props including yoga mats; however, students are encouraged to bring their own mats.

Yoga is meditation in action.
